We have been having a wonderful time playing as our compact and bijou quartet, the Red Fez 4. Captain Christopher has been wowing us with his sublime trumpeting as well as his dulcet vocal refrains. We are lucky that we managed to entice him away from the orient, it would appear that  Lord Rawlinson has been providing valuable reinforcement on the clarinet and saxophone. Dame Natalie Dolton has continued to tinkle on the ivories whilst rear-admiral Alan Elliot has been parping away on his Sousaphone (all the nice girls love a sousaphone). He has also been known to play the drums at the same time, what a clever chap!

**Scandal in the Speakeasy: Lord Rawlinson Blows the Roof Off!**

In a display of aristocratic aplomb and more hot air than a political debate, Lord Rawlinson, took to the stage last night with his trademark tenor saxophone, sending shockwaves through the audience at The Drones Club. Clad in tails and top hat, Rawlinson was a vision of noble nonsense as he launched into a solo so fast it left the crowd wondering if they were hearing notes or simply the sound of a panicked goose.

The rest of the Red Fez 4—comprising the ever-boisterous Captain Christopher Dawe on trumpet, the inscrutable Rear-Admiral Alan Elliot on sousaphone, and the dainty but deadly Dame Natalie Dolton on the ivories—were barely able to keep up. But keep up they did, with Captain Christopher puffing up his cheeks like a pufferfish on a high-tide and tooting out melodies so sharp, they nearly cut through the thick fog of cigarette smoke hanging over the room.

Stayed tuned for more information.
